Work at Height Sign Post Course 

Work at height continues to be a major issue with regards to safety on aconstruction site. The Work at Height Regulations in 2005 helped the industry focus on the critical aspects of working at height, referencing a number of 
product solutions and work practices to minimise the opportunity for harm. This courses gives candidates a working understanding of these solutions. 

Outcome 

The outcome of the one day course is for candidates to:- 
understand key aspects of work at height, along with responsibilities identified within the Regulations. 
be able to identify solutions, plan for these solutions and manage the solutions when on site. 
know where to locate further guidance. 

Competence 

Candidates are assessed on their knowledge during and at the end of the course. They receive a 3 year Certificate of Attendance.

Include; workplace controllers, students/graduates, site/trainee project managers & supervisors, health & safety professionals, planning coordinators, temporary works professionals. 

Facilities 

Courses can be held at our purpose built training centre in Westcott, Bucks or we can deliver the course at clients offices/site subject to suitable facilities.

Candidate Requirements 

Must have a good understanding of English. 

Practical 

It is a classroom based course with no practical work, although syndicate work should be anticipated. Some courses may include a site inspection and therefore PPE may be required.
