Rescue Workshop for Managers

The Work at Height Regulations require those responsible to plan work at height and to ensure this planning includes emergency resuce procedures. It is not sufficient to have a statement in a RAMS that refers to "cutting the net from below". 3 Education have authored a Safety Net Rescue Workshop for Managers that helps produce a workable rescue plan.

Outcome

By the end of the workshop, candidates will understand the 10 key issues that should be considered within a plan. They will be able to explore the workability of the plan and appreciate how this will change during the build process. This allows the plan to be adapted to maintain workability. Candidates will have sufficent knowledge to be able to write a workable plan and interrogate plans prepared by others.

Competence

Candidates are assessed on their knowledge and practical understanding at the end of the course. They receive a 3 year FASET Certificate of Attendance.
